March is Reading Month at Learning Tree Dayschool!
Get ready to embark on an exciting literary adventure! This March, Learning Tree Dayschool is transforming into a magical world of stories, where every corner buzzes with the joy of reading. Our classrooms are coming alive with colorful book displays, reading nooks, and creative activities that make reading an unforgettable experience.
Throughout the month, our students will dive into daily reading challenges, enjoy special guest storytellers, and participate in themed dress-up days inspired by their favorite book characters. From “Cat in the Hat Thursdays” to our “Cozy Reading Fridays” where children can bring their favorite blankets and stuffed animals, every day brings a new opportunity to fall in love with books.
Parents, you’re a crucial part of this journey! We encourage you to join our “Reading Stars” program by logging your at-home reading minutes with your child. Each week, we’ll celebrate our most enthusiastic readers and their families with special recognition during our morning assemblies.
Special events this month include:
- Weekly “Mystery Readers” (surprise parent visitors)
- Book swap day (bring a book, take a book)
- Pajama Day story marathon
- End-of-month “Book Character Parade”
Remember, when we make reading fun, we create lifelong learners. Join us in making this March our most memorable reading celebration yet!
Stay tuned for our weekly newsletter updates featuring photos of our young readers in action and tips for making reading time at home even more engaging.
